Magic Cactus was born with one simple focus: to create a drinking experience that combines the elements that we love about both alcohol and cannabis and drop the elements that we hate about each. We love alcohol in the moment but hate what’s to come for the next 24-48 hours thereafter. We hate the toll it takes on our brain and bodies in the longer term. We love the idea of replacing alcohol with a healthier alternative but we felt that every cannabis product on the market is unpredictable, unapproachable, and inconsistent. Long live the days of biting off the corner of a gummy and waiting 90 minutes to see if that was the dose you were looking for.

Magic Cactus is a modern beverage with real, functional ingredients crafted for those looking for a non-toxic buzz with benefits. Every Magic Cactus beverage has a sparkling cactus water base with added potassium, magnesium, l-theanine and a unique combination of the following hemp-derived cannabinoids: THCV, CBD, and a microdose of Delta-9 THC.

We made Magic Cactus with a stubborn vision of approachability and functionality. The product is designed to be sessionable - similar to a beer or glass of wine. 

Each 12-ounce can of Magic Cactus contains two milligrams of THC, four milligrams of THCV, and six milligrams of CBD. For those new to the product, we recommend drinking one over the course of 1-2 hours, similar to an alcoholic beverage.

The goal for this product was to create a healthy buzz without the brain fog. We learned early on that the primary reason for brain fog from both alcohol and cannabis is their tendency to deplete key electrolytes in the body. Coconut water is rich in electrolytes but is also rich in sugar and calories, two elements we were determined to avoid.

Then we discovered prickly pear cactus water which has only a fraction of the sugar that coconut water does. Cactus water is rich in electrolytes, antioxidants, and even has anti-inflammatory properties.

Also “Magic Coconut” doesn’t quite roll off the tongue.

Most cannabis products emphasize potency and are infused with cannabis distillate (oil). The standard gummy has ten milligrams of THC, or 100 milligrams per package. The body slowly digests the oil and effects can be felt anywhere from 45-90 minutes. For the casual consumer, these products tend to come on too heavily, leading to anxiety and brain fog.

Magic Cactus is infused with nano-emulsified cannabinoids at just a fraction of the potency. The onset can be felt within 12-15 minutes; again, similar to a beer or glass of wine.

Drinking as a consumption method leads to gradual, consistent effects that are completely under control of the consumer.

THCV (Tetrahydrocannabivarin) is a psychoactive compound known for stimulating effects that can potentially suppress appetite and regulate blood sugar.

THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is the primary psychoactive component in cannabis, famous for providing a “high,” along with pain relief and appetite stimulation.

CBD (Cannabidiol) is a non-psychoactive compound recognized for its calming and anti-inflammatory properties, often used to alleviate anxiety and inflammation.

In a combination featuring 2mg of THC, 4mg of THCV, and 6mg of CBD, the interaction of these compounds is intended to create a unique and balanced experience. This “2-4-6” ratio may bring together the psychoactive effects of THC and THCV with the calming influence of CBD, producing a synergistic benefit known as the entourage effect.

THCV is intended to temper the high of THC, while CBD has been known to further moderate any anxiety or paranoia.
