Magic Cactus was born with one simple focus: to create a drinking experience that combines the elements that we love about both alcohol and cannabis and drop the elements that we hate about each.

We love alcohol in the moment but hate what’s to come for the next 24-48 hours thereafter. We hate the toll it takes on our brain and bodies in the longer term. We love the idea of replacing alcohol with a healthier alternative but we felt that every cannabis product on the market is unpredictable, unapproachable, and inconsistent.

Long live the days of biting off the corner of a gummy and waiting 90 minutes to see if that was the dose you were looking for. Magic Cactus is a modern beverage with real, functional ingredients crafted for those looking for a non-toxic buzz with benefits.

Every Magic Cactus beverage has a sparkling cactus water base with added potassium, magnesium, l-theanine and a unique combination of the following hemp-derived cannabinoids: CBG, CBD, and a microdose of Delta-9 THC.

The goal for this product was to create a healthy buzz without the brain fog. We learned early on that the primary reason for brain fog from both alcohol and cannabis is their tendency to deplete key electrolytes in the body. Coconut water is rich in electrolytes but is also rich in sugar and calories, two elements we were determined to avoid. Then we discovered prickly pear cactus water which has only a fraction of the sugar that coconut water does.

Cactus water is rich in electrolytes, antioxidants, and even has anti-inflammatory properties. We wrote more about it here!

CBG (Cannabigerol) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid recognized for its lightly uplifting effects and clarifying cognitive effects.

THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is the primary psychoactive component in cannabis, famous for providing a “high,” along with pain relief and appetite stimulation.

CBD (Cannabidiol) is a non-psychoactive compound that is intended to provide an overall calming effect for the mind and body.

In a combination featuring 2mg of THC, 4mg of CBG, and 6mg of CBD, the interaction of these compounds is intended to create a unique and balanced experience. This “2-4-6” ratio is an approachable, session-able "buzz" that allow sthe consumer to maintain full control of their consumption experience. The three cannabinoids create a synergistic benefit known as the entourage effect.

For Magic Cactus, we derive all of the cannainoids above from hemp containing less than 0.3% THC - which allows us to comply with federal regulations and ship to a wide network of states around the country.

L-THEANINE
L-Theanine is a natural adaptogen found in green tea. This compound has been known to bring the mind to that sweet spot between relaxed and alert. When we created Magic Cactus it was important to us to offset some of the fatigued effects that come with similar products - to create a tranquil effect for the modern mind. L-theanine brings a daily dose of Zen without the Z’s.

MAGNESIUM
Magnesium is a magical mineral that acts as your body's own personal assistant - quietly Involved in over 300 body processes. Known for its ability to regulate sleep quality and aid natural energy production. Magnesium harmonizes the body to keep the days smooth & the nights restful.

POTASSIUM
Potassium is a vital electrolyte that is naturally abundant in the prickly pear cactus - and keeps us replenished to unlock a clear-headed drinking experience from start to finish. To hydrate & survive through long days in the high desert.

Other ingredients include prickly pear juice from the Southwest United States & Mexico, monk fruit for a subtle natural sweetener, and himalayan pink salt to complimeent the effectiveness of the electrolytes.

We made Magic Cactus with a stubborn vision of approachability and functionality. The product is designed to be sessionable - similar to a beer or glass of wine.

Each 12-ounce can of Magic Cactus contains two milligrams of THC, four milligrams of CBG, and six milligrams of CBD. For those new to the product, we recommend drinking one over the course of 1-2 hours, similar to an alcoholic beverage.

Most cannabis products emphasize potency and are infused with cannabis distillate (oil). The standard gummy has ten milligrams of THC, or 100 milligrams per package. The body slowly digests the oil and effects can be felt anywhere from 45-90 minutes. For the casual consumer, these products tend to come on too heavily, leading to anxiety and brain fog.

Magic Cactus is infused with nano-emulsified cannabinoids at just a fraction of the potency. The onset can be felt within 12-15 minutes; again, similar to a beer or glass of wine.

Drinking as a consumption method leads to gradual, consistent effects that are completely under control of the consumer.
